Apollo Audio is an online music promotion website, providing free streaming album previews, digitial distribution, dropcards for vinyl and publicity services, via a proprietary flash media player.  Content is delivered as streams via a Flash Media Server.

Launched in 2005, it has since curated a sizable world-wide community of music enthusiasts, who are interested in seeking out, and more importantly, purchasing, digital music they may not find elsewhere in larger digital media outlets.

The player itself is lightweight, fast and bloggable.  The website presents the catalog to the viewer with no advertising, and with no reviews -- we're hoping to let the listeners decide for themselves how they feel about the music.  We see the website akin to the experience of browsing through a record store, shopping with your eyes.  And if you want to hear the album, it's an easy click away.
